“Typical liar”: California Rep. Pelosi faces backlash over claims she missed Biden’s decline Calls grow for California Sen. Schiff to be jailed

Former US House Speaker and pro-Armenian Nancy Pelosi is drawing online backlash after claiming she was unaware of former President Joe Biden’s mental decline because she saw him only about three times over the course of a year.

Speaking at a Politico event in Sacramento, California, the California representative and former House Speaker said those who knew of any decline should have acted on the information, Caliber.Az reports, citing The Nerd Stash.

The remarks, shared in a widely circulated video, have prompted strong reactions from users questioning the claim.

In the video, Nancy Pelosi is shown seated at a Politico event, as she discusses former President Joe Biden. She says, “I had been speaker and when I was speaker I saw the president all the time but when I wasn’t then I saw him maybe three times that whole year and so I didn’t know… but I do think that those who did know should have acted upon that information whatever that means… well it whoever knew… whoever knew there was the staff saying the family knew the family saying the staff knew I don’t know but they should have acted sooner.”

She adds that one of the times she saw him was “when I saw him one time he was giving me the Presidential Medal of Freedom” and that “he was perfectly fine that day, I thought.” The footage captures her comments during the interview portion focused on this topic and does not show what occurred before or after the segment. 

Some users questioned the claim directly, with one writing, “She knew. She knows we know she knew but sticking to career politicians’ creed, she’ll lie & double down on said lie!” 

Others called the statement a lie, saying, “This is just a lie. They all knew,” and “Typical liar.” 

A few focused on Pelosi herself, commenting, “Give her a break. She’s also very late-stage mentally declined,” and “Birds of a feather. The mentally declining can’t really tell if another person is mentally declining.” 

Additional replies included “She never watched the news or watched his speeches? What a fool!” and “I completely agree with Nancy Pelosi that she didn’t know Biden was mentally declining. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t know her *expletive* from a hole in the ground or *expletive* from Shinola.”

Senator Adam Schiff is drawing backlash after stating that Senate Democrats have prevented the “disastrous” SAVE America Act and describing them as “the only wall that has held.” During an appearance at a Commonwealth Club event in San Francisco, the California senator made the remarks, which an RNC Research post on X linked to claims of more than 270,000 non-citizens registered to vote.

In the video, California Sen. Adam Schiff appears seated onstage speaking at an event. He says, “We have been successful in some respects at stopping worse things from happening. For example, we’ve been able to fend off this disastrous SAVE Act, which the president has tried to force through. Senate Democrats are really the only wall that has held to prevent it from taking place.” The footage shows him gesturing as he delivers the remarks; it does not include the full surrounding discussion or what was said immediately before or after.

Some users focused on Senate Republicans, with one writing, “The Democrats are laughing in your faces, you idiots….the @SenateGOP is a JOKE,” and another stating, “The Senate GOP is worthless.” 

Others directed criticism at Schiff, including comments such as “Still confused why pencil neck isn’t in prison” and “Why isn’t this guy in jail?”
