UAE adviser says country “triumphed” in conflict
A senior adviser to the United Arab Emirates president has said the country emerged victorious from a conflict it had sought to avoid, describing the outcome as a demonstration of national resilience and strengthened regional influence.
In a post on the social media platform X, Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE president, said the country had prevailed through a defensive effort to protect its sovereignty and achievements, Caliber.Az reports.

“The UAE triumphed in a war we sincerely sought to avoid, and we prevailed through an epic national defence that safeguarded sovereignty and dignity and protected our achievements in the face of treacherous aggression,” Gargash wrote.
He added that the country is now positioned to navigate a complex regional environment with increased confidence and capability.
Gargash also linked the outcome to the UAE’s broader development model, emphasising national strength and resilience.
“Our strength, resilience, and steadfastness have reinforced the UAE's renaissance model," he wrote.
