UAE cancels all residency permits for Iranian citizens amid asset dispute
The United Arab Emirates has reportedly canceled all forms of residency permits for Iranian citizens, including “golden” visas previously granted to investors.
“The UAE swallowed up about $530 billion of Iranian assets with the false promise of ‘99-year residency,’ and now, without the slightest explanation, is unilaterally canceling their residency,” Tehran Times said on its X account.
