UAE intercepts 7 Iranian missiles, 15 drones in fresh response
The United Arab Emirates’ air defence systems intercepted seven ballistic missiles and 15 drones launched from Iranian territory today, the UAE Ministry of Defence reported on X.
“Since the onset of blatant Iranian aggression, UAE air defences have engaged 334 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,714 UAVs. These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of 2 members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, the deaths of 6 civilians, and injuries to 158 people ranging from minor to severe,” Caliber.Az quotes the UAE Ministry of Defence as saying on X.
The Ministry emphasised that it remains on high alert, prepared to respond quickly to any threats targeting the country’s stability and security. It affirmed its commitment to protecting the nation’s sovereignty, national interests, and capabilities.
