UAE intercepts three of four cruise missiles launched from Iran
The United Arab Emirates has successfully intercepted three of the four cruise missiles launched from Iran over the country’s territorial waters, while one fell into the sea, the Ministry of Defence has stated.
The Ministry, sharing a post on X, explained that the sounds heard by residents in various parts of the UAE were linked to the successful interception of aerial targets, Caliber.Az reports.
“UAE Air Defences system are actively engaging with missiles and UAV threats,” it said.
