UAE President informs Putin about growing investment in Russian economy
UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has said that UAE’s investments in Russia's non-oil sector have grown by 103 per cent over the past year.
“The relations between Moscow and Abu Dhabi are historical. The UAE is the biggest trading partner of the Russian Federation in the Middle East and pays special attention to energy and high-technology cooperation,” Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan told Russian President Vladimir Putin during negotiations, Regnum reports.
In turn, President Putin invited the UAE leader to the 2024 BRICS summit in Kazan and noted the unprecedentedly high level of the Russia-UAE ties. Earlier, Press Secretary for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov clarified that joint documents are not planned to be signed during the visit.
