UFC reveals timeline for McGregor comeback after latest injury setback VIDEO

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is expected to remain out of action for another year after suffering a knee injury in his most recent fight, UFC President Dana White announced.

"I have no idea. Yeah, we had him on FaceTime tonight ringside, but you know, Conor McGregor's out for a year," White told reporters at a press conference following a Zuffa boxing event.

White was responding to questions about a video showing McGregor performing workouts despite the injury.

On July 11, 2026, McGregor made his first UFC appearance in five years, facing American fighter Max Holloway at UFC 329. The bout ended in a technical knockout victory for Holloway after about a minute when the Irish fighter landed awkwardly following a kick and injured his knee.
