Uganda warns it will join war if Israel faces destruction threats
Uganda would enter the ongoing Middle East conflict on the side of Israel if there are threats aimed at its destruction, according to the country’s top military official.
General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Staff of the Uganda People's Defence Force, said the international community is seeking a swift end to the war but warned against rhetoric targeting Israel’s existence.
We want the war in the Middle East to end now. The world is tired of it. But any talk of destroying or defeating Israel will bring us into the war. On the side of Israel!
