UK ambassador praises Azerbaijani judokas' success at Paris Olympics

British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld has praised Azerbaijani judoka Zelym Kotsoiev for his outstanding performance at the Paris Olympics.

In a post on his X account, Auld highlighted Kotsoiev's achievement, noting that his victory has added a second gold medal to Azerbaijan's tally, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Auld described Azerbaijani judokas as performing "wonders" in Paris, underscoring the significance of their achievements.

Kotsoiev, competing in the 100 kg weight category, secured his gold medal by defeating a Georgian opponent in the finals.
