14 June 2025 00:55
The leaders of Britain, France, and Germany have jointly called for de-escalation following Israel’s recent strikes on nuclear and military facilities in Iran, according to a statement released by the office of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Starmer held a joint call on June 13 with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to discuss the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
"The leaders discussed the long-held grave concerns about Iran's nuclear programme, and called on all sides to refrain from further escalation that could further destabilize the region," the statement read.
