UK Health Secretary makes swift exit after short Downing Street talks

UK Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, has left Number 10 following a meeting with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer that lasted just 16 minutes, Sky News reports.

The short duration of the visit has drawn attention, with it remaining unclear how long Streeting spent in discussion with the Prime Minister himself.

On arrival and departure, Streeting did not respond to shouted questions from journalists as he made his way to a waiting car further down the street.

The meeting comes amid ongoing political activity within government, though no details have yet been released regarding its contents.
