UK police arrest new suspect over attacks on Jewish community sites
The UK police have arrested a new suspect, a 37-year-old man, as part of an ongoing investigation into a series of attacks targeting Jewish sites, with officers saying the individual is believed to be linked to arson incidents and other related offences.
The man was taken to a police station for questioning, Caliber.Az reports, citing UK police.
“Arrest made as part of an ongoing investigation by the London Counter Terrorism Policing unit into a series of attacks on Jewish community premises in north-west London, an attack on a Persian-language media organisation, and the discovery of cans containing a non-harmful substance in Kensington Gardens,” the police statement said.
