UK proposes deploying four fighter jets to defend Bahrain

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has proposed deploying four fighter jets to provide defensive air support for Bahrain.

According to Sky News, citing Downing Street, Starmer made the proposal during a telephone conversation with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

During the call, the two sides agreed that operational teams from both countries would coordinate in the coming days to finalise plans for the deployment of the fighter aircraft.
