UK temporarily lifts sanctions on Druzhba oil pipeline
The Druzhba oil pipeline has been temporarily removed from the United Kingdom’s sanctions regime, with the exemption in place until October 14, 2027.
This measure is outlined in a general licence published on the website of the UK’s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI).
Earlier, London expanded its list of Russia‑related sanctions by 297 new entries. The updated list includes 240 companies and organisations, seven individuals and 50 vessels.
The majority of these are not based in Russia. Among them are 142 companies registered in the United Arab Emirates, 39 in China, three in Thailand and two in India.
In addition, restrictions were extended to two Georgian television broadcasters — Imedi TV and POSTV — and a company from Poland.
