UK to host follow-up summit on Ukraine soon
The UK is set to host a follow-up summit on Ukraine on March 15, with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer convening a virtual meeting of international leaders to discuss Ukraine’s future prospects.
This summit will build on the Lancaster House summit held in London just over a week ago, as Downing Street confirmed today, Caliber.Az reports, citing British media.
A spokesperson for the British Prime Minister told reporters, "You can expect the prime minister to host a second leaders’ meeting of the coalition of the willing, building on his Lancaster House summit."
The meeting follows a series of important diplomatic engagements throughout the week. On March 11, Ukraine-US talks are planned, and later this week, a separate European meeting will take place in Paris. These discussions will involve the army chief, as well as British, German, Italian, and Polish defence ministers, underscoring the continued focus on Ukraine and international efforts to address the ongoing crisis.
