UKMTO reports dozens of vessels attacked in Persian Gulf region Between February 28 and June 8

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has announced that 29 vessels have been attacked in the Persian Gulf region since the start of the US–Israel war against Iran.

According to a statistical report covering the period from February 28 to June 8, the UKMTO received 54 reports of incidents involving ships operating in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman.

It added that the incidents included 29 attacks, 23 reports of suspicious activity, and two cases of vessel seizures.
