Ukraine: 7,000 Russian soldiers killed in Severodonetsk, Lysychansk
05 July 2022 09:56
Oleksiy Arestovich, an adviser to the head of Ukraine's presidential office, has said that 7,000 Russian soldiers were killed in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.
In the battles for Lysychansk and Severodonetsk, Russia lost 7,000 people. And this is only by the most conservative estimates, UNIAN reports, quoting Arestovich as saying on the programme Feygin Live.
He also noted that a small "grey zone" remained in Luhansk Region, which is not yet controlled by Russian troops, but in general it can be stated that the region is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced the withdrawal from their positions after heavy fighting for Lysychansk.
