Ukraine agrees with Romania on Danube-Black Sea canal construction

The Ukrainian authorities have agreed to fulfil Romania's requirements for the construction of the Danube-Black Sea canal.

This was announced by the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ruslan Strelets on his Facebook page, Lenta.ru writes.

According to Strelets, Ukraine has done a lot of work to bring the canal project in line with the requirements of the "Expo Convention".

The minister also specified that Kyiv was not indifferent to good-neighbourly relations with Bucharest and compliance with international law.
