Ukraine, Canada expand Free Trade Agreement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have signed an updated free trade agreement between the two countries.

According to "European Pravda", the signing ceremony took place before a joint press conference of both leaders.

"We have just signed a free trade agreement between Ukraine and Canada. It gives Canadian companies access to the Ukrainian market and will create new jobs," Trudeau said.

He added that Canada also confirms macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in 2024.

"Later in Toronto, we will meet with business leaders and discuss efforts to rebuild Ukraine," the Canadian prime minister announced.
