Ukraine clarifies number of Russian missiles, drones it downed in recent attack

The Russian military fired 84 cruise missiles and 13 Iranian drones into Ukraine on October 10.

In total, the air defence forces destroyed 56 air targets, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the statement of the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

“The Russian Federation used 84 cruise missiles, 24 unmanned aerial vehicles, of which 13 were Iranian Shahed-136s. Fifty-six targets were destroyed. Among them are 43 cruise missiles and 13 UAVs,” the statement reads.

Earlier, on October 10, the Russian army launched a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, causing civilian casualties.
