Ukraine discloses weapons required for further offensive

Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Kirill Budanov, has said that Ukraine needs more weapons for a further offensive.

“There should be no restrictions as Russia uses absolutely all types of weapons against Ukraine,” Budanov said in an interview with The New York Times, according to RBC-Ukraine.

Budanov noted that Ukraine needs medium-range missile systems, long-range missile systems, large-caliber artillery, and combat aircraft for a further offensive.

“We are at war on our own territory. If anyone thinks that the use of certain types of weapons should be restricted for us, I would like to remind you that Russia uses absolutely all types of weapons in Ukraine beginning with cruise missiles launched from submarines and ending with strategic bombers. The whole range of Russian weapons, except for nuclear ones, is used in Ukraine,” he said.
