24 April 2026 10:46
Russia launched a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine on April 24, using two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 107 strike drones, according to a post by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The drones included Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types, with approximately 70 identified as Shahed drones.

Ukrainian air defences responded across multiple regions, and as of 08:00, preliminary data indicated that 96 UAVs had been shot down or suppressed in the north, south, and east of the country.
Despite the interceptions, impacts from two ballistic missiles and 10 strike drones were recorded at nine separate locations. In addition, debris from downed drones fell in two other locations.
