Ukraine and France have agreed to deepen their defence cooperation, with a focus on air defence and drone production, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has said.
Deputy Defence Minister Sergiy Boyev held talks with Alice Roufo, France’s Deputy Minister for the Armed Forces, during which they discussed boosting Ukraine’s anti-air capabilities and replenishing critical missile stockpiles.
The officials also explored involving other partner nations to help meet Ukraine’s defence requirements.
France signalled its readiness to step up sanctions aimed at limiting the supply of key components for Russian missile production.
