Ukraine intercepts Russian document on Bryansk incident
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has claimed it intercepted a Russian document contradicting allegations that Ukrainian drones struck a bus carrying Belarusian citizens in Russia’s Bryansk region.
The SBU described the document as an internal briefing from the monitoring centre of the state institution Safe Region in Bryansk region, obtained during counterintelligence operations, Caliber.Az reports.
Officials said the document states that no Ukrainian UAVs were detected in the area at the time of the incident.

It reportedly notes that the regional operational headquarters did not identify any drones in the zone of the incident, while radar units in the village of Suponevo also did not confirm their presence, and the 32nd division duty services did not record any UAV activity at the relevant time.
Based on this information, the SBU suggested the possibility that Russian special services could have been involved in the incident.
The Ukrainian side also stressed that Russia has previously accused Ukraine of incidents that Kyiv denies responsibility for, saying such cases have been used in information campaigns against Ukraine.
As a reminder, a drone reportedly struck a bus carrying children from Belarus in the Bryansk region.
