Ukraine: Number of injured rises after Russian drone attack on Cherkasy PHOTO
The number of people injured in Cherkasy, central Ukraine, has risen to four following a Russian drone attack, local authorities said.
The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported that Russian forces continued to strike the region with drones overnight, with the regional centre again among the main targets, as it had been the previous evening.
“During the latest attack, four more people sought medical assistance in Cherkasy. Two of them were hospitalised; their condition is not severe. In total, we have four drone impact sites,” Taburets said in a Telegram post.
On April 14, authorities reported that an eight-year-old child was killed in Cherkasy as a result of a drone strike, while at least 14 others were injured.
