Ukraine: Police investigate shooting, stabbing during recruitment dispute in Kryvyi Rih VIDEO
A shooting broke out in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih during a confrontation between two civilians and military recruitment officers, leaving at least two people injured.
The incident involved a father and his son and servicemen from Ukraine’s Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre (TCC), Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.
During the altercation, a shot was fired, prompting witnesses to call police and an ambulance to the scene.
The father of the conscription-age man sustained serious injuries during the scuffle and was taken to the hospital.
One of the servicemen was also wounded and, according to preliminary information, may have been stabbed. Details about his condition were not immediately available.
