Ukraine reports civilian casualties after strike on Pryluky city centre PHOTO
Two people have been killed and 17 others injured following a Russian ballistic missile strike on the central part of the city of Pryluky in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region, the National Police of Ukraine stated.
“Today, the occupiers launched a ballistic missile strike on the central part of the city of Pryluky. According to preliminary data, two people were killed and 17 were injured. Among the injured is a child. Several buildings and civilian vehicles were damaged. Investigative and operational police units, forensic experts, community police officers, and all emergency services are working at the scene,” the police said in a statement.
Chernihiv Regional Military Administration head Viacheslav Chaus said one of the local enterprises was among the targets of the attack. He added that a nearby shopping centre, a supermarket, and fire service equipment were also damaged in the strike.
