Ukraine reports heavy losses of Russian army in Severodonetsk
Adviser to the Head of the Office of Ukraine’s President Oleksiy Arestovich has said that Ukrainian troops continue killing Russian soldiers in the city of Severodonetsk.
He made the remarks live on the Feigin Live YouTube channel on June 8, according to RBC-Ukraine.
Arestovich said the enemy forces retreat under the onslaught of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The Russians suffered severe losses in and around Severodonetsk. Losses are expressed in the number of dead bodies of Russian soldiers in the Luhansk region - there are hundreds of them,” he said.
Arestovich added that by suffering serious losses, the Russian troops began to retreat a little in the city. Artillery duels are now being waged in Severodonetsk, and no close fights are taking place, according to him.
He said the new Russian military authorities are planning to reduce the number of casualties among their soldiers, meant to concentrate more on artillery at the front.
