Ukraine reports increased inbound passenger flow at border crossings

10 April 2026 11:46

A rising trend in inbound passenger traffic to Ukraine has been observed over the past two weeks, while overall movement across the border remains moderate, according to the State Border Guard Service.

Spokesperson Andriy Demchenko told Ukrinform that weekend crossings have exceeded 100,000 people per day, with entry into Ukraine accounting for the majority of the flow.

He added that on weekdays, the figure drops to approximately 85,000–90,000 crossings daily.

Despite the increased movement, Demchenko said the situation is not causing significant queues or delays at border checkpoints. He also advised travellers to check congestion levels in advance to better plan their journeys.
