Ukraine restores navigation on Danube-Black Sea Canal

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority [USPA] has announced the restoration of navigation through the Danube-Black Sea canal.

"Given the liberation of Snake Island and the accumulation of a large number of ships waiting to pass through the [Romanian] Sulina Canal, it is possible to use the Bystroe canal of the Danube River - the Black Sea for entry/exit of ships carrying agricultural products,” USPA said in a statement, according to TASS.
