Ukraine returns 25 more bodies of soldiers
The Ukrainian Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories has said that 25 more bodies of soldiers were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention.
“Another operation was carried out to transfer the bodies of soldiers. The bodies of 25 more defenders were returned to Ukraine,” Ukrainska Pravda reports referring to the ministry.
The operation was carried out with the assistance of the Commissioner for Missing People Oleg Kotenko and law enforcement officers.
Some 45 more bodies of soldiers were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine on July 19.
Thus, the bodies of more than 400 soldiers were returned to Ukraine during a full-scale war with Russia on July 3.
