Ukraine's army chief dispels dismissal rumours with photo from his office

Valery Zaluzhnyi, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has posted a photo from his office. The photo comes amid rumours that he may be dismissed.

The publication appeared on his Facebook page, Caliber.Az reports quoting Ukrainian media.

The published photo shows Zaluzhnyi in his office with Ukraine's Chief of General Staff Serhiy Shaptala.

On January 29, a member of the Ukrainian parliament, Oleksiy Honcharenko, said that the Ukrainian parliament had announced the resignation of the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, from his post.
