Ukraine's largest central city under attack by Russian troops
Russian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on Ukraine’s Kryvyi Rih city in the Dnipropetrovsk region on the morning of November 27.
Information first emerged from local publicity boards that there had been explosions in the largest city in the central districts of the country, UNIAN reports.
This information was confirmed by the Head of the Military-Civil Ddministration of Kryvyy Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul.
He has urged local residents to take cover through his Telegram channel, posting "Kryvyy Rih - rocket attack. Stay in shelters".
Vilkul further reported that two rockets have struck the city with "significant destruction" to a transport infrastructure facility.
The morning of 27 November became also alarming for residents of Poltava, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kirovohrad and Luhansk regions with air sirens ringing in these regions.
