Ukraine’s military downs Russian missile over Sumy region

Head of Ukraine’s Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmitry Zhivitsky has said that a Ukrainian plane has shot down a Russian missile in the Romny city of the Sumy region.

"A plane of the Ukrainian Air Force shot down an enemy’s [Russia’s] cruise missile during an air raid over Romny city this afternoon! Thanks to our defenders!" RBC-Ukraine quotes Zhivitsky as saying.

“The missile's fragments fell in one of the settlements.”
