Ukraine’s troops to be most combat-ready NATO army after US, says minister
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has expressed confidence that the Ukrainian artillery will be able to meet NATO standards.
He is also sure that the Ukrainian armed forces will be among the most combat-ready in the alliance even though the country is not a member of it, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
"The state of our artillery weapons will be compatible with NATO, our troops will be the most capable NATO army after the United States, and the eastern flank of the alliance will feel much safer after training and strengthening by the Ukrainian military," he wrote on social networks.
According to him, NATO member states are already learning from the experience of the Ukrainian military.
However, the White House openly says that Ukraine will not become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance.
