Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia comes under heavy Russian strikes in 24 hours, six wounded
Six people were injured in the latest Russian strikes on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, Governor of the region, Ivan Fedorov, said on Telegram.
He stressed that Russian forces carried out 668 attacks on 26 settlements across the region over the past 24 hours, Caliber.Az reports.
The strikes targeted both the regional centre of Zaporizhzhia and several surrounding settlements, causing extensive damage to civilian infrastructure.
The attacks included airstrikes, large-scale use of drones, shelling from multiple launch rocket systems, and artillery fire. Fedorov said that 426 drones of various types, mostly FPV drones, were used to attack Zaporizhzhia and nearby areas.
In addition, six strikes were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems, while artillery shelling accounted for 226 attacks.
Authorities reported receiving 107 damage reports related to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.
