Ukraine’s Zelenskyy discusses Middle East tensions with Jordan's King
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he discussed the situation in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region with King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan.
“King Abdullah II and I spoke about the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region. Here in Ukraine, we are closely monitoring all developments and have taken a principled stance from the start. I expressed our support and solidarity with the people of Jordan and the region as a whole," Caliber.Az quotes Zelenskyy as saying on Telegram.
Zelenskyy stressed the importance of coordinated efforts both in Europe and the Middle East to ensure security.
"Missiles and ‘Shahed’ drones from Iran must not be allowed to destroy lives," Zelenskyy wrote, noting the need to prevent the Middle East war from spreading.
