Ukraine says PURL funding sufficient to sustain US weapons deliveries
The volume of partner contributions under the PURL programme is sufficient to continue supplying Ukraine with critically important US-made weapons, while deliveries are ongoing, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.
In a comment to Ukrinform, the ministry’s press service said: “The volume of contributions to the PURL programme is sufficient to continue supplying Ukraine with critically important weapons from the United States; assistance continues to arrive. At the same time, we do not disclose information on the amount of aid, the list of participating countries, the nomenclature of weapons, or contract conditions. Under martial law, this data is classified as official information and is not publicly commented on.”
Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) is a mechanism under which NATO member states and partner countries contribute funds to purchase US-made equipment via NATO for transfer to Ukraine.
