Ukraine says Russia uses 60% of high-precision weapons
Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence Vadym Skibitsky has said that the Russian occupants have already used more than 60 per cent of stocks of high-precision weapons.
“According to our data, if we talk about high-precision weapons, then about 60 percent of the stocks have already been used. For some types, even more – 70 per cent,” Skibitsky said on May 25, according to Ukrayinska Pravda.
There are relevant regulatory requirements for the threshold level that must be kept in the troops, and for the same “Iskanders” (Russian ballistic missile system), this threshold level has almost arrived.
They changed the tactics of using such weapons. If earlier 2 or 4 missiles were used against an object, now the object, the target is clearly chosen, this is from 8 to 12 missiles of various formats. Either ballistic or cruise missiles, land-based, sea-based, or air-based, are chosen to be ready to hit this target.
“We see changes, and we understand that the resource of high-precision weapons, precision-guided munitions in the Russian Federation is at the maximum level,” the intelligence officer said.
Skibitsky added that in the first two months of a large-scale invasion, Russia launched chaotic strikes with precision-guided missiles.
