Ukraine shoots down over 100 Russian drones overnight PHOTO
Ukrainian air defence forces say they have destroyed 114 out of 141 Russian drones in an overnight assault.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Telegram channel, the attack began at 18:00 on Sunday, April 5, with Russian forces launching drones, including the Shahed, Gerbera, and Ilmas from multiple locations, such as Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Hvardeyske and Crimea. Around 80 of the drones were reportedly Shahed models.
Ukrainian air defences, supported by aviation units, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile combat teams, responded to the incursion.

By 08:00 on Monday, April 6, preliminary reports indicate that 114 drones had been shot down or neutralised across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian authorities said 26 drones struck 17 locations, while debris from downed drones fell in 13 areas.
The attack is ongoing, with several Russian drones reportedly still in Ukrainian airspace.
