Ukraine starts to assemble German concern’s weapons
Director General of the Ukrainian Defence Industry company (Ukroboronprom) German Smetanin has said that a joint production with German Rheinmetall concern has already been launched.
“Ukraine started to produce weapons of the Rheinmetall concern by using German components,” he told the Rada TV channel, Gazeta.ru reports.
Smetanin noted that the production of weapons and military equipment was launched without the creation of joint ventures.
