27 April 2026 17:27
The Ukrainian government has submitted the required documents to the European Commission to receive €2.7 billion under the EU’s Ukraine Facility programme, following the completion of several reforms that made the country eligible for the funds.
European Commission spokesperson Guillaume Mercier said on April 27 that they are currently processing this request, Caliber.Az reports, citing European Pravda.
According to Mercier, he could not yet specify the exact amount or timeline for when Ukraine will receive the funds.
The EU’s Ukraine Facility programme includes reforms in areas such as anti-corruption, public administration, and economic governance.
