Ukraine targets bromine plant, power eubstation in Crimea VIDEO
Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) have attacked the Perekop Bromine Plant in the city of Krasnoperekopsk in temporarily occupied Crimea, hitting a major power substation.
“The USF ‘birds’ visited the BROM chemical plant, which operates for the occupier’s military-industrial complex,” said the USF commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, per RBC-Ukraine.
The Bromine plant is one of the largest industrial enterprises in Crimea and the only producer of bromine-based chemical compounds in Eastern Europe. It specialises in the production of bromine, bromides and other chemical products for industrial use. The plant’s output is used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and rubber industries.
During the night of November 23, Ukraine’s Drone Systems Forces also attacked the 220-kilovolt Krasnoperekopsk main power substation.
