Ukraine targets Russian oil infrastructure in overnight wave of strikes

Ukraine's Armed Forces said they carried out overnight strikes on several military and military-economic facilities inside Russia on July 14, including two oil refineries and a vessel transhipment area.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the targets included the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat oil refining complex in Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan and the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region.

The Ukrainian military said fires broke out at both refinery sites following the strikes.

The General Staff also claimed that Ukrainian forces hit a vessel transshipment area near the Black Sea resort city of Gelendzhik.
