Ukraine to extend martial law, mobilisation for 90 days

The Verkhovna Rada will likely extend martial law and general mobilisation in Ukraine for 90 days.

"The Verkhovna Rada will extend martial law and general mobilisation again in the near future. These extensions will take effect after February 24, 2023, and are very likely to last 90 days again," people's deputy of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak said, according to RBC-Ukraine.

He also added that the relevant two laws to approve the decree will be introduced by the president soon and will be followed by their approval by the Rada next week.

It should be noted that martial law and general mobilisation have been declared in Ukraine since the start of the war.
