Ukraine to focus on naval drones in weapons export strategy – Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that naval drones will become a priority in arms exports.

The head of state made this statement during a meeting with members of the press, according to the Ukrainian news agency Obozrevatel.

Zelenskyy noted that within the next ten days, a draft concept for Ukrainian arms exports will be developed. As an example, the Ukrainian leader pointed to naval drones, whose production in the country significantly exceeds the needs of its own armed forces.

“This makes it possible to sell the surplus and direct the proceeds to the production of drones that are in short supply for the front,” Zelenskyy said.
