Ukraine to receive 10,000 drones from first German-Ukrainian joint venture VIDEO
Ukraine is set to receive 10,000 drones in 2026 from the country’s first German-Ukrainian defence joint venture, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on X.
The facility, based in Germany, is already operational and delivered its first jointly manufactured drone, which Zelenskyy personally inspected during a visit to the production line.
According to the Ukrainian leader, the drones are “battle-tested, powered by AI” and capable of striking, scouting, and protecting soldiers on the front lines.

“This year, 10,000 drones manufactured here will be sent to Ukraine to strengthen our forces,” Zelenskyy said, adding that the line marks the first of ten planned joint ventures across Europe aimed at producing Ukrainian drones by the end of 2026.
Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, the German government, and the German people for supporting the initiative.
“Ukraine is always ready to share the experience we gained in defending life,” he wrote.
