Ukraine uses French "Caesar" howitzers at frontline
The Ukrainian artillerymen have quickly mastered the French-made “Caesar” howitzers, which are already at the forefront.
The statement was made by the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi on a Facebook post, according to Ukrinform.
“Caesar howitzers are already at the forefront [of the battles]. Caesar ensures crew survivability and convenient working conditions. It enables to act according to the principle: fire - maneuver - fire. Our artillerymen have quickly mastered the new self-propelled guns, in fact, in 2-3 hours. I am sincerely grateful to the partners for their help! It serves to bring our Victory closer,” Zaluzhnyi wrote.
Caesar is the latest self-propelled artillery equipment that allows neutralizing the enemy at a distance of 20 km or more from the front line with high accuracy.
