Ukrainian army hits 12 concentration areas of Russian troops

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army conducted air and ground strikes on 12 areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

Over the past day, the Russians launched five missile strikes, 61 airstrikes and 70 attacks, using multiple-launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, Ukrainska Pravda reports, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties, both dead and injured, as well as damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians conducted airstrikes on areas near Stepne, Kostiantynivka, Popivka and Oleksandrivka in Sumy Oblast. They launched mortar and artillery attacks on more than 25 settlements, in particular, Kliusy, Yeline, Bleshnia and Karpovychi (Chernihiv Oblast); Zarichchia, Popivka, Tymofiivka and Stukalivka (Sumy Oblast); and Udy, Huriv Kozachok, Odnorobivka, Strilecha, Pkhrymivka and Stroivka (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Kupiansk front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Nadiia and south of Novoselivske (Luhansk Oblast). Over 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire, including Kamianka, Ridkorub, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Holubivka, Kupiansk and Kyslivka (Kharkiv Oblast).

On the Lyman front, the Russian troops carried out airstrikes near Makiivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast. They bombarded the settlements of Nevske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Torske, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Bakhmut front, the Ukrainian defence forces repelled Russian attacks near Bohdanivka (Donetsk Oblast). The Russians bombarded more than 15 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne and New-York (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled Russian attacks near Avdiivka (Donetsk Oblast) while under constant aircraft and artillery fire by the Russians. The Russians carried out an airstrike near Sieverne (Donetsk Oblast). 10 settlements, including Oleksandropil, Ocheretyne, Novokalynove, Novoselivka Persha, Avdiivka and Sieverne in Donetsk Oblast, came under Russian artillery fire.

On the Marinka front, the Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to hold back the offensive by Russian troops near Marinka (Donetsk Oblast). The Russians shelled over 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk front, the Russian troops failed to regain lost positions near Staromaiorske in Donetsk Oblast. The Russians launched an airstrike near Staromaiorske. The settlements of Vodiane, Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka and Blahodatne (Donetsk Oblast) came under Russian artillery fire.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians launched an airstrike near Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast). The Russians bombarded more than 15 settlements, including Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaipole, Piatykhatky, Kamianske and Plavni in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On the Kherson front, the Russians carried out an airstrike near Kozatske in Kherson Oblast. More than 20 settlements came under Russian artillery fire, including Kherson, Zolota Balka, Respublikanets, Chervonyi Maiak, Shliakhove, Lvove, Kozatske, Antonivka and Veletenske in Kherson Oblast, and Kutsurub, Ochakiv and Dmytrivka in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian defence forces are continuing to conduct offensive operations on the Melitopol and Berdiansk fronts, reinforcing their positions and carrying out counter-battery operations.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted 10 strikes on areas where Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment were concentrated. They also struck two Russian anti-aircraft missile systems and shot down seven Shahed-136 attack drones.

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck four artillery pieces at their firing positions, two clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, two electronic warfare stations and a communication hub over the past day.
