Ukrainian delegation visit Gabala children’s rehabilitation center in Azerbaijan PHOTO
Ukraine’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, accompanied by Ukrainian Members of Parliament Yuriy Kisel and Ihor Negulevskyi, visited the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Center during their official visit to Azerbaijan.
The delegation met with 30 Ukrainian children currently participating in a 10-day rehabilitation program at the center. The program provides comprehensive medical, social, and psychological support, designed to help children affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Additionally, the children are offered cultural excursions as part of their recovery process, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Ambassador Husyev praised the Azerbaijani specialists for their high level of professionalism and highlighted the center’s state-of-the-art equipment, emphasising the favorable conditions created for the children’s health restoration.
Since the program’s inception, nearly 300 Ukrainian children have been brought to Azerbaijan for rehabilitation across nine groups, reflecting the strong humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
